Care in Your Own Home
Our care ranges from the practical support and personel care to the more intensive needs some require.
By delivering care to people in their own home, Carewatch allows thousands of people to maintain their independence in their own home. Some of the typical groups we provide care to are:
- older people
- learning disability
- physical disability
- those suffering from mental illness
- supporting carers, allowing them to take a break
Who Gives the care
All care workers receive a police/security check and have to undergo our induction programme. They will then have the opportunity to work towards a nationally recognised qualification in care, or specialise in different areas.
Quality Standards
We are registered with Durham County Council as Perferred Providers. Our practices are bound by national regulations along with a variety of legislation. In addition to this we have our own Policies and Procedures which our staff adhere to. Regular audits and inspections ensure compliance with agreed standards.
We have also been awarded the Investors In People Award.
If you would like to talk to us about receiving care please feel free to ring us and talk to our Care Manager Shelagh Syson on 0191 3718999.
